SEARCH FOR MISSING PERSON - FERN RIDGE RESERVOIR

Shortly before 1:00pm today the Lane County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a missing adult male at Fern Ridge Reservoir.  Deputies and other rescue personnel from the Eugene/Springfield Fire Department and Lane Rural Fire Authority are actively searching for an adult male that was last seen approximately 150 yards offshore in the area of the dam about twenty minutes prior to the call.  He was wearing charcoal colored shorts.  A drone and multiple boats are searching for him.  Updates will be provided as they become available.
