ALSEA MAN ARRESTED ON SEVERAL COUNTS OF SEX ABUSE

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Benton County Sheriff’s Office Detectives arrested forty-year-old Joshua Allen Reeves, of Alsea, on September 22, 2021. Reeves was charged with two counts of Sex Abuse II, seven counts of Sodomy I, three counts of Sex Abuse III, three counts of Rape I, Sexual Penetration I, and Strangulation.

On February 21, 2021, a minor female disclosed to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office she had been sexually assaulted by Joshua Reeves over a five-month period in 2019.

Detectives ultimately located Reeves on September 22 in Florence, Oregon. He was interviewed, taken into custody, transported back to Corvallis, and booked into the Benton County Jail.
