CREWS BATTLING SPRINGFIELD HOUSE FIRE

Eugene Springfield Fire

Springfield, OR.  Eugene Springfield Fire crews are on scene of a house fire on the 1200 block of West Olympic St.  Arriving firefighters found a fire on the back of the house that had extended to the attic.  Windy conditions provided challenges in the fire attack, but crews were able to keep the fire contained to the attic space.  one occupant was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.  The cause is under investigation.
