UPDATE-MISSING PERSON FROM POLK COUNTY: (POLK COUNTY CASE #21-2078 / LANE COUNTY CASE #21-6007)

Searchers with the Lane County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team have located the body of missing 59 year old Guy Vernon Knight.  Knight was reported missing by family members after he was last seen at his residence in Dallas, OR on October 15^th, 2021.  

 

Knight’s vehicle was located in the parking lot of the South Jetty staging area south of Florence last week.  His body was located today by drone in a nearby wilderness area away from the main roadway.  

 

The investigation into his death continues however at this point there are no indications that Knight was the victim of a crime or other foul play.
