Gresham, Ore.-The previously reported missing woman, Wanda Och, was located in a Portland hospital waiting room within minutes of the press release being sent out and family is on their way to pick her up. Our thanks to everyone who helped look for her.


Gresham, Ore.— Gresham Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing 84-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s, emphysema, and diabetes who was last heard from at 1:30 this morning. Wanda Och lives in the 500 block of NW Division Street in Gresham and called her adult son in Fairview from a 7-11 in the 6300 block of SE Harmony in Milwaukie saying she was lost and needed help. An employee gave her directions to drive to her son’s house in Fairview by going north on SE 82nd Drive and then east on NE Sandy Boulevard. She has short gray hair, uses oxygen at all times, and is driving her 2009 Kia Spectra with Oregon plates 036EVW; an image of a similar car is attached to this release. She is approximately 5-foot-1-inch tall and weighs around 138 pounds. Wanda does not have a cell phone and her family doesn’t know why she would be in the Clackamas area at 1:30am or where she might go. Anyone who knows of Wanda Och’s whereabouts or sees her car is asked to call non-emergency police dispatch at 503.823.3333.
