UPDATE: Missing Man Located Safely

Our missing person has been located safely. Thank you to everyone who helped share our message.


On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at around 7:00 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a missing person named Charles Witham in the Buxton area of unincorporated Washington County. Witham, age 75, has been missing since the morning of the 9th when his home on NW Fisher Road, near Highway 47, was found unsecured by a friend. 

Witham is described as 5’04”, 150 lbs., with blue eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a flannel shirt and blue jeans. He may be driving a silver Chevy van with Oregon plates: 561 HYW.

Witham’s family has concerns for his mental health and could be a danger to himself or others.
