UPDATE - ALBANY POLICE INVESTIGATING SUSPICIOUS DEATH

On Friday, February 25th, 2022, at approximately 9:10 pm first responders from the Albany Fire Department and Police Department responded to a single-family residence in the 500 block of 26th Ave SE, Albany, following a 911 report of a male not conscious/not breathing. Responding officers located Albany resident Elvin “Al” Pierce, a 75-year-old male, deceased.  


The on-going investigation has revealed Al Pierce died from homicidal violence.  Albany Police Detectives are looking for Al Pierce’s registered vehicle that is missing from the residence.  The vehicle is described as a tan/beige 2004 Buick Park Avenue 4-door bearing Oregon license plate 081FAX.  Shown is a picture of a similar vehicle:

 

Albany Police Detectives are also looking for Al Pierce’s roommate, Elizabeth Nicole Tyler Jimenez a.k.a. Liz Jimenez (42) who has not been questioned and her current whereabouts are unknown.  Elizabeth Tyler Jimenez is known to the Albany Police Department, but she was not present when police arrived at Al Pierce’s residence.  Elizabeth Tyler Jimenez is known to frequent local soup kitchens.  Investigators believe she is currently unemployed, but it’s believed she has job skills as a seamstress and a masseuse.  Shown are pictures of Elizabeth Tyler Jimenez from her Facebook page.


Albany Police is asking the public for help in locating Elizabeth Nicole Tyler Jimenez and Al Pierce’s tan/beige 2004 Buick Park Avenue 4-door sedan bearing Oregon license plate 081FAX. 


If found do not approach the car or Elizabeth Tyler Jimenez.  Please call 911.
