UPDATE: SEARCH UNDERWAY FOR MISSING 9 YEAR OLD IN ROSEBURG

Shortly before 3:00 am on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, searchers located Sunday hiding at a nearby residence which was under construction. She was safely reunited with her family. 

The Sheriff's Office would like to thank the community for their assistance.

ROSEBURG, Ore. - The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is currently searching for missing 9 year-old Sunday Jones. She left her residence in the 200-block of Tucson Ct. in the Melrose area on foot with little clothing at approximately 9:00 pm on Monday, February 21, 2022. 

She is described as 5'00" 110 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.
