UPDATE: Deputies Arrest Driver of Truck Following Crash Into River

March 31, 2022

On March 31, 2022, officers from the Hillsboro Police Department located Jonathan Michael Laura and arrested him on unrelated crimes. He was lodged in the Washington County Jail. Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office then also charged Laura with the following charges related to the incident on March 30th:

 

  • Unlawful use of a motor vehicle
  • Possession of a stolen vehicle
  • Attempt to elude – felony
  • Attempt to elude – misdemeanor
  • Reckless driving
  • Driving while revoked – misdemeanor
  • Reckless endangering
  • Criminal mischief in the first degree
