Winston -Dillard Fire District

Today at 4:46pm, The Winston-Dillard Fire District was dispatched to a reported natural cover fire in the area of Roberts Mountain Road. First arriving crews found a fire moving up a hill reportedly caused by a downed high-voltage power line. An aggressive attack was launched and forward progress on the fire was limited to approximately two acres of land. WDFD assisted Douglas County Fire District No.2 and DFPA on this incident.
