In August of 2019, a person or persons murdered Stacy Jean Rickerd and Jeremy David Merchant at an improvised target shooting area located in the Mt. Hood National Forest which is within Clackamas County, Oregon.
The investigation into these murders is still active and investigators are following up on any active leads. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for any information leading to an arrest/conviction.
