Drugs were located and seized during a trespass call
On March 28th, 2023, at 8:30 a.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a call of a woman trespassing at the Sleepy Hollow Trailer Park in Bridge.
Deputies R. Baker and B. Freerkesn drove to the location and contacted the woman trespassing, who was identified as Cynthia Mayse. Mrs. Mayse was trespassed from the site and grabbed some of her belongings while leaving a purple backpack on the ground.
Mrs. Mayse was asked about the backpack and advised deputies that it wasn’t hers. No other owner of the bag was located. The pack was removed from the location at the R.V. Park’s request, believing it belonged to Mrs. Mayse.
A search of the backpack revealed a bag of a white/clear substance with visually sizable crystal-like rocks. The substance tested positive for Methamphetamine with a weight of 22 grams. The Methamphetamine was seized and logged into evidence for destruction.
