GRESHAM SEARCHING FOR MISSING 13-YEAR-OLD

Gresham, Ore.—  Missing 13-year-old. Amar Deweese has been located and returned to NAFY. The Gresham Police Department thanks everyone who helped look for him.

Gresham, Ore.— Gresham Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 
13-year-old. Amar Deweese was last seen at NAFY, 470 SE 165th Ave, at 8:20 a.m., on Friday, April 29. Amar sometimes uses the last name Nylan. He is not known to be suicidal or have any diagnosed mental health issues. He is familiar with TriMet and has been staying at NAFY, due to concerns of 
defiant behavior towards his father.

Amar is described as a Black male who is approximately 5-feet tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has short black hair and was last seen wearing a white Nike vest, and black pants and white shoes. He has two backpacks he took with him. He does not take any medications. He does not have a cell phone. Anyone who knows of Amar’s whereabouts is asked to call the non emergency police line at 503-823-3333.
