MISSING 13-YEAR-OLD ALBANY BOY -- ALBANY POLICE CASE

On April 5, 2023, at 10:24 p.m., Albany Police took a missing person report regarding 13-year-old Tryston Charles Wade of Albany. Brittany Lyanne Wade reported her son Tryston had been at a friend’s residence in the 2000 block of SE 6th Avenue, Albany on April 5th, and when she went to pick him up around 3:40 p.m., she was told he had left the residence.  Brittany Wade also told police she was told that her son Tryston was believed to be in the company of 24-year-old Alyssa Kathleen Thomas of Albany. 

On April 6th, Albany Police received information that Tryston Wade and Alyssa Thomas were reportedly in the Portland area and were attempting to get transportation out of state. Albany Police have checked known locations in Albany and Linn County for Alyssa Thomas and have been in contact with Portland Police regarding Thomas and Wade being in the Portland area.

Tryston Wade has been entered as a missing person in the Law Enforcement Data Systems (LEDS). Tryston Wade was believed to last be wearing black shoes, blue jeans, and black hooded sweatshirt. Tryston Wade is a white male juvenile, 5’-03” tall with medium length brown hair, blue eyes and weighing 170 lbs. 

Alyssa Kathleen Thomas is a white female adult, 5’ 01” tall with shoulder length brown hair, blue eyes and weighing 111 lbs. Her hair color was most recently died pink/light purple. Thomas currently has an active arrest warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Theft. 

Albany Police are sharing the attached recent photo of Trystan Wade and Alyssa Thomas which had been posted on social media.

Anyone seeing either Alyssa Thomas or Trystan Wade is asked to report this information to their local law enforcement and the Albany Police Department.
