SHERIFF'S OFFICE SEARCHES FOR MISSING 74-YEAR-OLD FEMALE WITH EARLY ONSET OF DEMENTIA
On August 10, 2023, at about 11:06 PM, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 4100 block of Embassy Wy NE regarding a report of a missing 74-year-old female with early on-set of dementia. The missing person has been identified, by family, as Teresita Afanador Lemus who is described as 5’06”, 130lbs with shoulder length black hair and a dark blue headband, American flag lanyard draped around her neck, yellow watch on her right hand with golden rosary, black leather jacket, black shirt, gray and black leggings, black shoes, and she is reported to be carrying two black purses.
She was last seen walking around the 4100 block of Embassy Wy NE around 4:00 to 5:00 PM and left in an unknown direction of travel.
Marion County Search and Rescue have been notified and will be responding to assist in the search efforts. We have also notified surrounding agencies to be looking for Teresita. We are asking anyone with any information of her whereabouts to call us at 503-588-5032.
