Whistler's Park Fire

Around 5 pm, Crews from DFPA and Gilde Rural Fire Protection District responded to an estimated 1 acre grass and brush fire located near the camping area at Whistlers Park in Roseburg, OR.

Park goers evacuated the area as ground crews and DFPA's helicopter knocked down the forward spread of the fire. 

Crews are on scene and performing mop up. 

The cause of the fire is human caused and under investigation.
