DETAILS: | Officers observed a white truck pull out of the Jersey Lilly and pull into the Garden Valley Mini-Mart. A short time later officers saw the vehicle failing to maintain while driving south on NW Highland. A traffic stop was conducted Johnson was identified as the driver. He showed signs of impairment but refused to perform field sobriety tests. He was taken into custody without incident and ultimately refused to provide a breath sample. The officer applied for and was granted a search warrant to obtain Johnson’s blood. After the warrant was served he was lodged at Corrections. |

DETAILS: | There were multiple calls about vehicles being loud and possibly racing in the area in the area. Officer responded to the area and captured the listed vehicle on radar traveling 53 MPH on Newton Creek. Officer activated his emergency lights and the vehicle drove off at a high rate of speed attempting to elude. The officer followed and the vehicle stopped on Hughes. There were six other juveniles in the vehicle. The driver admitted to trying to trying to flee from law enforcement. All the juveniles passengers were given courtesy rides home and released to guardians. |
DISPOSITION: | The driver was lodged at Juvenile Detention. |
