FIRE CREWS EXTINGUISH WEST EUGENE INDUSTRIAL FIRE

Eugene, OR. Eugene Springfield Fire is on scene of an industrial fire at Weyerhaeuser Trus Joist located at 195 N Bertelsen Rd in West Eugene. Firefighters were alerted to the fire at 7:08 PM on Sunday. The first arriving engine from the Danebo Station received reports of a press on fire inside the facility. Crews quickly extinguished the fire before it extended to the building or other equipment. Staff from the facility worked to keep the fire in check before fire crews arrived. The fire is under control and there were no injuries reported.
