DRIVER KILLED IN SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH ON LORANE HIGHWAY

On December 29th at 8:30 p.m., Lane County Sheriff’s deputies responded with fire personnel to a single vehicle crash off Lorane Highway near Sutherlin Lane, south of Eugene.

 

The vehicle, a 2012 Jeep Wrangler, left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a tree. The driver was the only occupant and was killed in the crash.

 

The cause of the crash is under investigation. The driver was identified as James Lee Blondell, 76, of Reedsport.
