Donaldson Arrested on the charges of Burglary I, and Assault IV

Coos County Sheriff's Office On January 29 th 2023 the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a report of an assault which had occurred on Wygant Road, near the City of Coos Bay. Sgt. S. Moore responded to the location an began an investigation into the incident. During the investigation it was learned the suspect, Brian A. Donaldson (41) years of age of Coos Bay, broke into the residence of his ex-girlfriend and subsequently assaulted her. The confrontation was broke up by a neighbor and Brian left the scene prior to police arrival on scene.  At the conclusion of his investigation Sgt. Moore issued probable cause for the arrest of Brian A. Donaldson on the charges of Burglary I, and Assault IV (Domestic).  On February 3 rd , 2023 Deputies B. Davis and Freerksen responded to a business in the Coos Bay area while following up on this case. Ultimately, Brian A. Donaldson was located and arrested. With assistance of the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office the body was confirmed to be Richard Champion, who was reported missing to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in September. GRESHAM FIREFIGHTER SUFFERS CARDIAC ARREST

City of Gresham GRESHAM, Ore. – It is with a heavy heart the City of Gresham shares one of our Firefighters unexpectedly passed away earlier today. As not all the next of kin have been notified at this time, we are unable to release his name.    The firefighter suffered cardiac arrest while in the line of duty and was unable to recover despite emergency medical attention. He had been with the Gresham Fire Department since 2008, spent seven years with the Gresham Police Department prior to that, and was a veteran having served our Country as a Navy Seal as well.   The Gresham Fire Department and City leadership are actively in communication with the family and funeral services are pending. As the City works to support the family and our firefighters that are grieving, we will not be releasing any additional information or conducting interviews at this time.   The City of Gresham is greatly appreciative of his service. The investigation remains ongoing based on the circumstances. Next of kin has been notified, the decedent is Alyce Deann Patee, 29, of Medford. Our condolences go out to her family and friends. CHRISTINA LYNN CORDON SENTENCES TO 108 MONTHS IN PRISON FOR SMALL BUSINESS BURGLARIES

Washington Co. District Attorney's Office HILLSBORO, Ore.— Christina Lynn Cordon, age 38, pleaded guilty to six counts of burglary in the second degree yesterday, February 2, 2023. Deputy District Attorney David Pitcher prosecuted the case before Judge Andrew Erwin.  From March through September 2022, the defendant  burglarized more than ten businesses throughout Washington County ,  including removing a bolted safe containing more than $1,500 and ramming a stolen vehicle into the door of a convenience store at another location. Cordon targeted small businesses, including restaurants, ice cream shops, delis, coffee shops and dry cleaners, by breaking store windows, picking locks, prying facility doors and even removing the lock at several locations.  A witness contacted the Hillsboro Police Department after witnessing Cordon break a glass door window and enter the Copper River Restaurant in Hillsboro, Oregon. FATAL TRAFFIC CRASH ON DOLE ROAD

Douglas Co. Sheriff's Office MYRTLE CREEK, Ore.  - A Myrtle Creek man died in a traffic crash Thursday evening.  On February 2, 2023, shortly after 8:30 p.m., 9-1-1 dispatchers received a report of a single vehicle crash in the 1300-block of Dole Road outside of Myrtle Creek. When deputies arrived on scene, they located a red 2005 Ford Explorer which had rolled onto its top. The sole occupant of the vehicle, 22-year-old Conner Jones of Myrtle Creek, was declared deceased at the scene by Fire and EMS personnel.  Deputies are continuing to investigate the crash and believe alcohol to be a contributing factor. Anyone with information which may aid the investigation is encouraged to contact the Douglas County Sheriff's Office at 541-440-4471 referencing case #23-0434. Medford Police Seek Information on Additional Victims

Medford Police Dept.   Medford Police Department Detectives believe a man investigated on child sex offense charges in Jackson County may have more victims. Twenty-year-old Kevin Crook, of Medford, was arrested on January 31, 2023 for multiple sex offense charges.   MPD Detectives received a report that Crook was having an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old Medford girl. On February 2, 2023 a Jackson County Grand Jury indicted Crook on charges of second degree rape and first degree sexual abuse.   It was reported that Crook has had multiple relationships with juvenile females in the Jackson and Josephine County area. DEPUTIES ASK FOR THE PUBLIC'S HELP IN LOCATING A MISSING PERSON

Washington Co. Sheriff's Office Detectives have located Onedonna Inthavong and she is no longer listed as a missing person. The Sheriff’s Office appreciates the public tips and calls to help verify her safety. Deputies at the Washington County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public’s help locating 46-year-old Onedonna Inthavong. Inthavong was last seen in downtown Portland on Wednesday, January 31, 2023. Inthavong was last seen wearing a black beanie, black/brown leather jacket, blue sweatpants, and white shoes. She also had a brown camouflage sleeping bag with her. A photo of Inthavong was taken of her wearing a black tank top and blue skirt shortly before she was last seen. Coos County Sheriff's Office On February 1 st at 9:00 a.m. the Coos County Search & Rescue was activated and responded to the Bandon area to assist in the search for a missing person at the request of the Bandon Police Department.  The man is identified as Clarence Edward Pitts 83 years of age from Bandon. It was reported Clarence walked away from his residence in Bandon on January 31 st around 1:00 p.m. Clarence is described as 6’00” / 150 lbs. gray hair and brown eyes. Clarence was last seen wearing an orange beanie, plaid jacket, tan pants and white shoes and possibly has a walking cane. Gresham Police is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a person of interest seen in surveillance video near the area of the attack. Additionally, police are concerned there may be unreported incidents of unwanted sexual contact involving this person. QUADRUPLE FATAL CRASH - HWY 226 - LINN COUNTY

Oregon State Police On Monday, January 30, 2023, at approximately 7:26 P.M., the Oregon State Police responded to a two vehicle crash on Hwy 226, near Fish Hatchery Dr., in Linn County.   The preliminary investigation indicated a silver Hyundai Elantra, operated by Travis O. Longo (20) of Albany, was traveling westbound on Hwy 226, near MP 4. While negotiating a curve at a high rate of speed, the Hyundai crossed into the eastbound traffic lane and struck a white Kia Sorrento, operated by Jessica M. Petrine (29), head-on. The collision caused the Elantra to roll and come to a rest on its roof.    As a result of the collision, Jessica M. Petrine was pronounced deceased at the scene. An 8 month old female passenger, of the Sorrento, was transported to the Lebanon Community Hospital with reportedly non-life threatening injuries.    Travis O. MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT WITH A FRYING PAN

Sheriff's Office On 01/30/2023 at approximately 7:33pm, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls about a dispute in the 11700blk of Maple Ave. in Mapleton.  One caller mentioned they overheard what sounded like gunshots during the dispute.  Deputies arrived and contacted 23-year-old Steen Joseph Hardt.  Hardt stated he had been in a dispute with his father and struck him in the head with a frying pan and replica firearm.  Deputies found a man inside the residence with a laceration on his head consistent with being struck by an object.  Deputies located evidence of the assault including a broken cast-iron frying pan and broken replica firearm. There was no evidence of a firearm being discharged during the dispute.  The victim was transported to an area hospital.  Hardt was taken into custody and lodged at the Lane County Jail on charges including Assault in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.    Click Here ...

TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO TWO ARRESTED

Coos County Sheriff's Office On January 28 th 2023 at 10:45 p.m. Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy Hannah Francis was dispatched to 95052 Stevens Lane, Coos Bay, Oregon to a report of a stolen vehicle, (Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle.)  During the course of an investigation it was learned, Ryan Langenberg 29 years of age of Coos Bay had stolen the car from the victim’s carport without permission.  After taking the report the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center entered the vehicle  as stolen.  As Deputy Francis left the residence after taking the report she observed the stolen vehicle driving east bound on Coos Sumner Lane. Deputy Francis conducted a traffic stop of the stolen vehicle on Coos Sumner near Wriston Springs Road.  During the traffic stop, the driver Ryan M. Lanenberg and passenger, Dominique M. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone for their help in locating her.  On January 30, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received information of a subject who was missing and last seen by family on January 27 th . The woman was identified as Alicia Mariah Tate 27 years of age, of Coos Bay.  Family members believe Alicia may have been with two men, with the possible names of Brandon Burman, and Mason Henderson. Family further believes Alicia or these men may be associated with a newer silver van.  Alicia is described as 5’08” 165 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes. SNOWMOBILE CRASH ON CASCADE LAKES HIGHWAY SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL

Deschutes Co. Sheriff's Office On 01/29/23, at approximately 7:30 pm, Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a snowmobile and a tracked snow vehicle on Cascade Lakes Highway at mile post 30. Initial reports indicated the snowmobile rider struck a stationary Elk Lake Lodge tracked vehicle at a high rate of speed throwing him from the snowmobile almost 100 feet. The driver of the tracked vehicle, an Elk Lake Lodge employee, was inside the vehicle at the time of the collision and was not injured. As a result of the collision, the snowmobile caught fire and was completely consumed. Employees from the Elk Lake Lodge learned of the crash and responded to the area to assist with additional cold weather gear for the snowmobile rider and driver of the tracked vehicle. Oregon City Police Dept. Update:  8:00pm -  Mr. Pense-Wollam was located by law enforcement and he is safe. OSP TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARREST AND DRUG SEIZURE -- KLAMATH COUNTY

Oregon State Police On January 18, 2023, around 11:26 a.m., an Oregon State Police Senior Trooper stopped an SUV for a lane usage violation on Highway 97, milepost 276, near Klamath Falls. During the traffic stop, the Sr. Trooper noticed signs of criminal activity, and a search of the vehicle was conducted.  During the search of the vehicle, the Sr. Trooper located approximately 10 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, 3 pounds of suspected heroin, and 1.4 pounds of suspected counterfeit pills containing fentanyl- all concealed within the vehicle.  The driver was identified as Sergio Luis Salazar-Mercado (30) of Wapato, Washington.  Salazar-Mercado was taken into custody and lodged in the Klamath County Jail.
