Medford Police Department  Medford Police have arrested a suspect believed to be responsible for multiple arson fires that occurred early this morning (Wednesday, 11/26) in North Medford. On November 26, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Medford Police officers responded to a reported fire at the Jack in the Box located near North Pacific Highway and Table Rock Road. The fire was quickly extinguished, resulting in minimal property damage. At around 6:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to another reported fire on Lynn Road near North Pacific Highway. Upon arrival, officers found three vehicles fully engulfed in flames and evidence consistent with arson. A drone was immediately deployed to search the surrounding area for additional fires or possible suspects. The drone located another active fire at Wild River Brewing on North Pacific Highway. Man Safely Arrested in Domestic Disturbance and Assault Cases

Tigard Police   Neighbors woke up to a large police presence in a Tigard neighborhood this morning, after officers responded to a call of a domestic disturbance with a weapon. Ultimately, one man was safely arrested.   The call began at 7:11 a.m. when a person called 911 reporting that Jaycob Holten was at a home near SW Steve Street and SW 82 nd  Avenue. The caller said Holten may have a gun and other family members were inside. Officers were already investigating Holten for seriously assaulting a woman a few hours earlier at another location.   Officers got information that the family members in the home were not able to leave. Concerned for their safety, Tigard Police requested that the Washington County Tactical Negotiations Team (TNT) respond. While they were en route, Holten agreed to come out of the home and he was safely arrested at 7:52 a.m.   He will be taken to the Washington County Jail on several charges related to these two incidents. Seal Rock Man Arrested Following Child Exploitation Investigation

Lincoln Co. Sheriff's Office   Seal Rock, OR — On November 25, 2025, 55-year-old Larry Clunette Boles Jr., of Seal Rock, Oregon, was arrested and booked into the Lincoln County Jail on multiple charges related to child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Boles faces charges under ORS 163.684 – Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the First Degree and ORS 163.686 – Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree.   This arrest follows the conclusion of a comprehensive investigation led by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit, in collaboration with the Lincoln City Police Department, Oregon State Police, Toledo Police Department, Newport Police Department, and the Oregon Department of Justice Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.   The investigation was initiated after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received a tip from an electronic service provid...

POLICE REQUEST ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING A MISSING JUNCTION CITY MAN

Junction City Police The Junction City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance locating a missing and possibly endangered person.   62-year-old Wade Felton Lloyd, of Junction City, was reported missing on November 20, 2025.  Mr. Lloyd was last seen on November 16 th  in the area of Birch Street and 2 nd  Avenue in Junction City.  Mr. Lloyd normally stays close to the Junction City area, has close ties to his family, and his only transportation is an older motorized bicycle, which is also missing.   Mr. Lloyd is a slender white male, standing 6 feet tall with brown hair and hazel eyes.  Mr. Lloyd is without his cell phone, wallet, and his medications.     The Junction City Police have exhausted all leads as to his whereabouts and is hoping that the community might recognize him or recall where they last saw Mr. Lloyd.   If you have information regarding Mr. Lloyd or have seen him on or after November 16 th , 2025, please...

FATAL CRASH HIGHWAY 20 - DESCHUTES COUNTY

Oregon State Police Deschutes, Ore. (Nov. 26, 2025)-  On Monday, November 24, 2025, at 9:30 p.m., Oregon State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 20, near milepost 51, in Deschutes County.   The preliminary investigation indicated a Freightliner commercial motor vehicle and trailer, operated by Rajinder Kumar (32) of Fresno (CA), was stopped in a jacknifed position, blocking both lanes of travel, with the tractor facing eastbound in the eastbound lane. A westbound Subaru Outback, operated by William Micah Carter (25) of Springfield, struck the trailer of the Freightliner as it was stopped perpendicular to the lanes of travel, at highway speeds.   The operator of the Subaru (Carter) and passenger, Jennifer Lynn Lower (24) of John Day, were declared deceased at the scene.   The operator of the Freightliner (Kumar) was reportedly uninjured.   The highway was impacted for approximately seven hours during the on-scene investigation. Suspect in Medford Police Officer-Involved Shooting Released from Hospital, Lodged in Jail on Multiple Charges

Jackson Co. Sheriff's Office   MEDFORD, Ore. – The suspect in the November 23 Medford Police Department officer-involved shooting has been released from the hospital and lodged in the Jackson County Jail. The suspect, Shane Wesley Smith, 30, of Medford, received treatment at a local hospital for injuries sustained during the incident and has since been cleared for confinement.   Smith is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, interference with making a report, attempting to elude police, reckless driving, and driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol). The incident will be presented to the Jackson County Grand Jury.   Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) detectives are leading the investigation. Further information will be released by JCSO or the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office following Grand Jury proceedings. This remains an active and ongoing investigation. UPDATE (November 16, 2025): Sheriff’s Office recovers likely remains of Devon Dobek

Clackamas County Sheriff's Office  Shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office was notified that a body had been spotted in the Mount Hood National Forest, in a difficult-to-reach location near the Fish Creek Trailhead. Community members, family, and friends of missing hunter Devon Dobek were searching the area when they saw what appeared to be a body at the base of a cliff and notified the Sheriff’s Office. At approximately 4:30 p.m., Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue coordinators and volunteers responded to the location and used a specially trained rope team in an attempt to reach and recover the body. The location required a river crossing and traversing several hundred feet of nearly vertical cliff face. With the loss of daylight, crews had to hold until morning to try again. Portland Police Bureau Monitors Protest Activity in South Waterfront; No Arrests Made

Portland Police Bureau  On the evening of Saturday, November 15, 2025, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) activated resources to monitor activity in the South Portland Neighborhood near the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building. These resources included the Rapid Response Team (RRT) and Dialogue Liaison Officers (DLOs). DLOs, wearing white uniform shirts, act as liaisons to demonstrators. They are sworn officers with arrest powers, but their goal is to foster communication. Additional resources can be activated as needed. PPB is grateful for the assistance of Portland Fire & Rescue. PPB members maintained a presence in the area periodically. No arrests were made. To date, the total number of arrests related to nightly protests in the South Waterfront is 67. Driver Arrested After Causing Head On Crash With Portland Police Bureau Officers

  Portland Police Bureau  On Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 7:15 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct reported that they had been involved in a crash at Northeast Halsey Street and Northeast 129 th  Place and requested emergency medical services. Suspect in Custody After Firing Gunshot in Lloyd District Neighborhood, Police Use of Deadly Force Investigation Underway

  Portland Police Bureau  On Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 9:42 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the 400 block of Northeast Hassalo Street on multiple reports of a man seen without clothing running around holding a handgun. When officers arrived, the man was no longer there, but they did an area check, locating him near Northeast Grand Avenue and Northeast Multnomah Street. Officers reported hearing a shot fired, and the suspect began running southbound on Northeast Grand Avenue with the gun. An officer used his police vehicle to strike the armed man, knocking him down and causing him to drop the gun. The man got up and continued running south, where he was challenged by officers on Northeast Holladay Street just east of Northeast Grand Avenue.
