Grants Pass Dept. of Public Safety On 10/12/19, at about 0635 hours, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety (GPDPS) 911 Dispatch received a report of an assault in front of the 7/11 store, located at 790 SW 6th Street. It was mentioned a (36 year-old) female had been punched by a male and a cell phone was stolen. As GPDPS police units were responding, dispatch advised the male suspect had brandished a knife and made threats to stab the female after chasing her. The male suspect fled the area on foot in an eastbound direction. Police units arrived and set a perimeter in the last known area for the fleeing male suspect. He was quickly located and ran from officers to the area of SE 8th and SE M Streets. He was placed in custody without incident after being challenged by police officers. SAR Ramps Up Search for Missing Woman

Jackson Co. Sheriff's Office BUTTE FALLS, Ore. — Reinforcements have arrived from regional search and rescue (SAR) organizations to assist in the search for a missing woman with dementia. Geraldine “Gerry” Hendricks, 80, was reported missing from her home on Saturday evening.  On October 12, 2019, at 6:44 p.m., dispatch received a call from Hendricks’ family in the 4400-block of Obenchain Road. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) deputies and search and rescue personnel responded to initiate the search. SAR personnel, including canine teams, searched through the night, but were hampered by darkness and terrain.  Additional resources were deployed at daylight Sunday, ramping up the search effort. Hendricks is described as 5’2”, 100 lbs., with short dark gray hair. Pair of Car Thieves Lock Themselves Out of Stolen Car, Get Caught

Sheriff's Office On Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at approximately 12:42 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a suspicious circumstances call in the parking lot of the QFC grocery store located at 7525 SW Barnes Road.  A caller to 9-1-1 reported seeing two men climbing on top of a black Toyota Corolla with a crowbar and wooden plank trying to open the door. Deputies contacted the two men identified as 29-year-old Omar Velazquez of Vancouver and 25-year-old Kenneth Hayden of Aloha.  The men claimed the car they were trying to break into belonged to another friend’s girlfriend and they had locked the keys inside. Further investigation revealed that the Toyota was stolen the day before from a Cold Stone Creamery on NW 185th Avenue in Hillsboro.  Two men, one who was later identified as Mr. Hayden, entered the ice cream shop and ordered ice cream cones, but didn’t have the money to pay.  The employee at the store later noticed her ke

Major Crash Team Activation, Life Threatening Injuries, Suspect In Custody

Portland Police Bureau On Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 10:38 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to eastbound I-84 at the I-205 off ramp on the report of a pedestrian being struck by a car. Officers arrived on scene and found the pedestrian suffering from life threatening injuries. It appears the pedestrian's car had broken down earlier and was walking away from the disabled car. The pedestrian was transported to a local area hospital and is currently in an ICU. The driver of the vehicle, 29-year-old Emmanuel Gonzalez-coria (Gonzalez-Coria), remained on scene and was ultimately arrested and lodged into the Multnomah County Detention Center on one count each of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and assault in the second degree. Residential Structure Fire - 1615 NW Utah Street - 10-7-19

Roseburg Fire Dept. At 7:49 p.m. on October 7, 2019, Roseburg Fire Department personnel responded to a reported structure fire at 1615 NW Utah Street.   Upon arrival on scene, firefighters found a two story residential structure with smoke showing from the second story of the home.  All residents and the family service dog had exited the structure prior to firefighters arriving on scene.  Two adult residents, four children, and the family service dog were all displaced; however, no one was injured in the fire.  The American Red Cross is assisting the family that was displaced. When firefighters entered the home, they located and extinguished a fire in the attic of the structure.Firefighters checked the residence for any extension of fire, ventilated the residence, and completed overhaul.  A fire investigator was on scene and investigating the cause of the fire.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.  The structure, which is valued at $200,000, suffered approximately $60,0

OSP FISH & WILDLIFE IS LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON POACHED BUCK DEER- DOUGLAS COUNTY

Armed Drug Dealer Arrested By GVRT in Lloyd District

Portland Police Bureau Officers in the Gun Violence Reduction Team (GVRT) working proactive patrol in the Lloyd District Neighborhood arrested a suspect with guns, large quantities of drugs, and cash. On Friday, October 4, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., GVRT officers were patrolling near Holladay Park when they conducted a traffic stop at Northeast 12th Avenue and Northeast Lloyd Boulevard. The officers discovered the driver, Noah J. Goldman, 37, of Portland, was in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested. A search of the vehicle, and later Goldman's residence, yielded meth, heroin, cash, and two guns. Goldman was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of Delivery of Methamphetamine near a School, Delivery of Heroin Near a School, Possession of Methamphetamine Near a School, Possession of Heroin Near a School, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Male at Grocery Outlet Attempts to get into Vehicle with Children Inside-Redmond, OR

Redmond Police Dept. On October 6, 2019, at approximately 5:35 pm, officers with the Redmond Police Department responded to an altercation at Grocery Outlet in Redmond, Oregon.  A father with two children, had started his vehicle and seat belted his 4-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter in the rear seat.  While standing at the driver’s side of his vehicle he noticed a suspicious male, later identified as Redmond, Oregon, transient 34-year-old Jeremy Dubisar, near his vehicle watching what he was doing.  He asked the suspicious male if he needed something and he responded that he did not.  The alert father locked his vehicle and walked to the rear passenger door of his vehicle to check on his 3-year-old daughter.  While attempting to check on his daughter, Mr. Dubisar attempted to open the driver’s door of the vehicle.  By first locking the vehicle the father’s actions prevented Mr. Dubisar from entering and stealing his vehicle with his children inside.  After being confronted

Single Vehicle Fatal Crash on Hwy 99 - Jackson County

Oregon State Police  On Saturday, October 5, 2019 at approximately 5:47 A.M. Oregon State Police and emergency personnel responded to the report of a single vehicle crash on Hwy 99 milepost 10.5 near Phoenix, OR. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2002 Mazda, operated by Dakota Arthur (23) of Medford, was northbound at a high rate of speed when it slid sideways into a power pole. Arthur sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. The passenger, Danielle Ramirez (24) of Medford, was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. OSP was assisted by Phoenix Police Department, Talent Police Department, Medford Fire Department, and ODOT.

Bend Man Arrested For Uploading Child Pornography

Bend Police Dept. On September 9, 2019 the Bend Police Department received a tip from ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force in Salem. The tip was in reference to an unknown individual in Bend that was uploading child pornography. Detectives with the Bend Police Department began an investigation and learned the location that the child pornography was being uploaded from and possible suspect information. On October 3, 2019 at 10:00 hours, officers and detectives with the Bend Police Department executed a search warrant at 664 NE Shirley Court in Bend where they contacted Joshua Zachary Campbell. Campbell was the lone occupant at the residence. Evidence was located and seized from the residence. Campbell was taken into custody and transported to the Deschutes County Jail where he was booked on the below listed charges.
